Travelling to Palestine

 

For all delegations ad participants there are two choices to enter Palestine:

- For participant who enter by visa:

  1.  You can travel directly through Ben Gurion Airport, Tel Aviv.
  2.  Departure to Jordan through Queen Alia Airport, Amman City, then through King Hussien Bridge

- For Participants who enter by permission; departure to Jordan through Queen Alia Airport, then through (Allenby - King Hussein Bridge).

Important note:  PWA will cooperate issuing the needed permissions. For all participants who will be entered with the issued permits, Please note the Israeli side Does Not Stamp the traveler’s passport, but rather an external electronic stamp.

Welcoming and Pick up from/to Ben Gurion Airport and Bridgs to the Hotels:

 ​PWA will coordinate the transportaions for all delegations and participants from all above crossing borders.

 

Alkarama Bridge border crossing (Allenby - King Hussein bridge)

 

Crosing between Israel / Jordan:

This border crossing is the closest to the Amman airport and closest to Jerusalem on the other side of the border (around 30km).

Days & Hours of operation of the crossing:
Sunday to Thursday – 24 hours
Friday and Saturday – 08:00 – 10:00 a.m.

Rates & Passage Fees
The border-crossing fee is NIS 156 per traveler. 

Getting to and from the Crossing:
Travelers at the terminal can use the following travel options:

  • Special fare taxis to anywhere in country.
  • Taxi service to East Jerusalem.
  • Bus service of the Abdul Hai Shahin Company to Jericho.
